One Heart every year sees it necessary to reach out to the less fortunate and those who we see need our services. 2021 has been a really rough year for many, especially in a country where people depend on each other to render help through medication, food, shelter, and a lot more.
This year, we decided to visit another county, which was Bong County, and we visited the biggest Hospital, which happens to be Phebe Hospital, where we carried out our donation along with the support of the Real Housewives of Winston Salem State University (WSSU) and the help of two families who chose to remain anonymous.
Making some donations to enable the hospital to run their generator and helping with Nebulizer Machine, hand sanitizers, hand soap, and face masks. When we arrived at the hospital, we were welcomed, and our donation was accepted.
Items given were:
- 20 bottles 500ML medical Hand Wash Soap
- 12 large hand sanitizer bottles
- 15 small sanitizer bottles
- Nebulizer Machine and Supplies
- 8 Boxes Mask (Face Masks)
- 20 gallons of fuel
With the help of Real Housewives of Winston Salem State University (WSSU) contributions and two of our members’ families who chose to remain anonymous, as it is seen as a good deed that shouldn’t be mentioned, we were able to generate everything that was donated on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at the Phebe Hospital.
