We (OHO) as a unique organization that strives to see people being provided for, well taken care of, and reaching out to those who are in need. This is just who we are if we summarize the page, About Us.
The second week in June, we got a full package of donations that were to be donated on our terms and conditions. Things donated to us were 9 bags of rice, 20 gallons of argo oil, a box of detergent, two boxes of washing soap, and three boxes of bath soap. Appreciating what was given to us, we went to a meeting to set a date for which we came up with a date to do the donation, Saturday, June 20, 202. The items donated to the organization were given by two women, Miss. Precious Hennessey Brownell and Diamond Gowah.
Items were donated on June 20, 2020, in the LBS community. These items were given to those who can’t afford to get help for themselves during this pandemic called COVID-19. We brought together eighteen individuals, we visited their homes and saw their conditions, and they were chosen by those who saw the need for help to be rendered to them. We assemble them at a center point for the distribution of items that we brought for them, so that we could chat with them and explain who we are and why we came. We had so many people to give to, but we had less to give around, so we gave two persons a bag of rice (nine bags of rice), an individual a plastic bag of soaps (that contained four bars of washing soaps and a half dozen of bathing soaps), a gallon of Argo oils, and Toilet Tissue.
We are proud of everyone who has reached us and sponsored what we are involved in and as well as donated to us in any way. As we prepare for more donations, we ask for help to enable us to meet more people who need this during this time of the pandemic.
