It has been recorded that In 2025, it’s estimated that around 700 million people live in extreme poverty, surviving on less than $2.15 a day. Additionally, about 1.1 billion people live in multidimensional poverty, which considers various deprivations beyond income, while in Liberia an estimated 33.8% of Liberians will live in poverty, which is a decrease from 51% in previous years.
While this is a positive trend, a significant portion of the population will still be struggling. About 45% of Liberians experience multidimensional poverty, with 33.2% severely poor and 20.4% vulnerable to slipping into poverty. Additionally, 52.3% of the population is considered multidimensionally poor, with another 23.3% vulnerable. This is were we come in to help fight this and make a change.
